BARBARA MANDRELL – 73 YEARS OLD

Barbara Mandrell built up a successful career in the ’70s and ’80s as a country genre singer. Her accomplishments include six number one singles. Her booming music career gave way to a tv show called “Barabra Mandrell & the Mandrell Sisters” in the early ’80s. This led to a Golden Globe nomination for the “One of a Kind Pair of Fools” hitmaker.

She also decided to give a hand at acting, starring in guest roles on TV shows like “Empty Nest,” “Touched by an Angel,” and “Baywatch.” Her last on-screen appearance was in 2000, for the TV movie “Stolen from the Heart,” after which she retired from public life to focus on raising her family.

LOUISE MANDRELL – 68 YEARS OLD

Another Mandrell sister, Thelma Mandrell, followed in her older sister’s footsteps to follow a country music career. She delivered hits like “Runaway Heart,” “Save Me,” and “Too Hot to Sleep.” Though she did not have the avid fanbase her sister had or enjoy her level of success, she did establish herself as a fairly successful female singer.

Mandrell acquired a 1,400 people occupancy theatre in 1997 and used it to perform shows for several years. Her performances led to her becoming very successful in the Smokey Mountains, where she was based. In 2005, she had her last show, after which she sold the theatre. She continues to tour and perform today.

LORETTA LYNN – 90 YEARS OLD

Loretta Lynn began her career in the ’60s, and in 1967 she enjoyed her first No. 1 hit with “Don’t Come A-Drinkin’ (With Lovin’ on Your Mind).” She went on to have 15 other No. 1 hits in her career. Her success in the industry, along with her tumultuous personal life, inspired her to pen an autobiography, “The Coal Miner’s Daughter.”

This autobiography was a rousing success, leading to an eponymous movie. The movie also earned several accolades earning an Academy Award for Best Film. In March 2021, she released her 50th studio album “Still Woman Enough,” which also featured Carrie Underwood and Reba McEntire.

CRYSTAL GAYLE – 71 YEARS OLD

Crystal Gayle has established herself a legacy as one of the best to make a career transition from a country style of singing to a more pop sound. In doing so, she laid down the tracks for singers like Carrie Underwood and Shania Twain. Her career accomplishments include eighteen No. 1 hits and a Grammy Award.

Her most popular song is “Don’t Make My Brown Eyes Blue,” the song hit No. 2 on the Billboards Hot 100 charts. It became an international success and is a fan favorite, with many requests for Gayle to perform the song on tours. In 2019, Gayle released her latest album, “You Don’t Know Me: Classic Country.”

CHRISTOPHER LLOYD – 83 YEARS OLD

Christopher Lloyd has critically acclaimed, distinguished performances on his resume; he is best remembered for his contributions to children’s entertainment. Whether it’s as Dr. Emment “Doc” Brown in the much-loved children’s sci-fi trilogy “Back to the Future” or as Uncle Fester in the creepy and kooky “Addams Family,” Lloyd has made a mark in the childhoods of many.

He has also gained a feverous fanbase by starring as Commander Kruge in “Star Trek.” He has also gained traction on the Star Wars fanbase as he appears in season three of “The Mandalorian.” In 2021, he appeared in movies like “Queen Bee,” “Nobody,” and “Senior Moment.”

Ann Margret – 80 Years Old

Best known for her sultry and soft sound, Ann was also known as the female version of Elvis Presley. Believe us that is true; the uncanny resemblance of her voice with the king of pop rightfully earned her that nickname.

Well, Ann’s still a knockout, and her beauty remains unmatched.
Sophisticated, immensely talented, and elegant, the undisputed queen of
Hollywood is a living example that some folks are born to be a star. But Ann has been pretty busy these days despite her age. With her outstanding performance in 2017’s Going in Style, she has reminded everyone that she can still stun audiences!

Bobby Sherman – 79 Years Old

Robert Cabot Sherman Jr. professionally known as Bobby Sherman, is an actor and singer-songwriter, who rose to fame as a teen musical idol in the late 60s. He released a string of popular singles including 1969’s ‘Little Women.’

Surprisingly, when his popularity was peaking, he left behind his musical and acting career to become an EMT and deputy sheriff although he did make occasional appearances in the 90s, after a 25-year acting hiatus. His last concert was in 2001, and he does charity and corporate events now.

Robby Benson – 67 Years Old

Robby Benson is a widely acclaimed actor and director with experience in the American film industry dating back to the late ’60s. His debut came with an uncredited role in “Wait Until Dark” when he was only 11. Despite the passing decades since this showbiz veteran is still active, he acted in the second season of the 2022 TV series, “Severance.”

Yet, for many fans, Benson’s most iconic project remains his voice-over acting as the Beast in the 1991 Disney animation “Beauty and the Beast.” He also found love with fellow actress and singer Karla DeVito and married her in July 1982. The couple has raised two children together.

Stefanie Powers – 79 Years Old

Stefani Powers garnered international limelight after her famous roles as Jennifer Hart in the superhit television series called Hart to Hart. On the sets of the show, she got a chance to star with Robert Wagner, one of the biggest names in the show business. After airing for five seasons,
the program became a hit among the audiences worldwide.

Marsha Hunt – 104 Years Old

The much spoken about fifteen seconds of fame is a phenomenon that can change one’s life. Marsha Hunt had hers on a musical where she had just two lines, but what followed was instant fame after her pictures circulated widely, propelling her into a modeling career.

Quite the bookworm in her earlier years, her intelligence made her jump at any opportunity that came her way, later channeling the same to book writing, where she managed to write three novels and autobiographies. This multi-talented lady also uses her fame to raise awareness of breast cancer.

George Hamilton – 82 Years Old

Famous for his finesse, acting skills, and suntan – George Stevens Hamilton has ruled over millions of hearts for close to six decades. He might have had a whirlwind start to his career in the early ’50s, but we are glad Hamilton did not give up. Else the industry would have missed such a fine performer!

Hamilton got hold of projects like Home from the Hill and Once Is Not Enough and even received a Golden Globe Award for Punishment U.S.A. With a net worth of around $20 million, the actor can choose to relax in his later years, but he is not even close to retiring anytime soon.

Dick Van Dyke – 96 Years Old

Dick Van Dyke is one of the most experienced American television personalities, having run a career in showbiz for over seven decades. The star was raised in quite the spiritual home and thought his career would be in ministry, only for a drama class to shift his love to professional entertainment. He has handled everything with so much passion and charm that he has excelled in every field he has ventured into, from radio to TV, film, and even writing.

The multi-award winner will definitely have his name immortalized, especially after being recognized as a Disney legend.

Suzanne Rogers – 78 years old

Suzanne Rogers, an American film and television actress, who was inspired by Ginger Rogers, is a star on the soap opera scene. She is well known as Maggie Horton on “Days of Our Lives,” the long-running NBC dramatic serial she has starred in since 1973. Once you’ve landed a sweet deal, why want more?

However, Rogers got her start as a dancer and performer at New York’s Radio City Music Hall and, like many good dancers, made her way into acting. In 2021, she was noticeably absent, but she returned to the show as her much-loved character in 2022.

Carroll Baker – 90 years old

Carroll Baker was trained by the best. She studied under the tutelage of Lee Strasberg, the founder of The Group Theatre and The Actors Studio. The skills she learned garnered her instant roles in Broadway, which led to her major film debut in “Baby Doll.” That role earned her an Oscar nomination.

She also earned a BAFTA nomination but, most importantly, had more roles come her way. This includes films like “The Big Country” and “How the West Was Won,” among a host of others. She retired in 2003 but has recently reared her voice to lend support to Bill Cosby in 2021.

Priscilla Presley – 76 years old

Priscilla Presley became well-known because of her marriage to the legendary King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley. After his death, she became the chairwoman of Elvis Presley Enterprises, which turned his estate, Graceland, into a tourist attraction. That was the beginning of her deep dive into entrepreneurship but in 2021 turned away from the business to charities like “Hayden’s Law” in 2021. 

Priscilla also dabbled in acting for some time and was featured in the three “N*ked Gun” films and the TV series “Dallas.” Lately, she speaks up about animal rights and produced a short documentary in 2020, “Land of the Free: Animal Trafficking Redefined.”

Steven Seagal – 69 years old

We have been hearing about Steven Seagal in 2022, but not because of his acting or his other profession: martial arts. Born in Lansing, Michigan, the 7th-dan black belt in aikido was a martial artist in Japan and was the first American to run an aikido dojo there. He later moved the dojo to Los Angeles and followed in Bruce Lee’s and Chuck Norris’ footsteps.

In 1988, he made his acting debut, and from there, the rest is history. The most surprising detour, according to The Guardian UK, is Segal’s friendly relations with Vladimir Putin, the current Russian President who started a war in Ukraine in 2022.

Peter Walker – 84 years old

Peter Walker is an American folk guitarist noted for his interesting blend of Indian classical and Spanish flamenco styles. However, he was the most productive during the mid-to-late ’60s. Still, his rediscovery by the current crop of Western folk artists has put him back in the spotlight, thereby renewing both touring and recording opportunities in 2022.

For instance, he hosted “The Quarantine Concerts,” where anyone with a Zoom link could watch his magisterial fingerpicking in 2021. Though he is aging, he is definitely playing music just as well. Check him out!

Nancy Allen – 71 years old

Nancy Allen became the actress who set the standard of all future angry-goddess teenagers as Chris Hargensen in “Carrie,” a film adapted from Stephen King’s novel by Brain De Palma in 1976. She married De Palma in 1979 and would also be in several of his movies in the ’70s. This wasn’t her only foundation for roles, though, and featured prominently in science fiction films.

When she stepped away from the acting scene back in 2008, she stepped into the world of supporting those who have cancer after her friend, Wendie Jo Spencer, lost her life from the illness. She works for the weSPARK Cancer Support Center in Los Angeles in 2021.

Deidre Hall – 74 years old

Deidre Hall has been busy with the NBC daytime drama “Days of Our Lives,” portraying Dr. Marlena Evans for over 40 years. She has picked up many awards along the way,  including two Best Actress Soapy Awards and three Soap Opera Digest Awards for Outstanding Lead Actress in 1984, 1985, and 1995. She has also been nominated for a Daytime Emmy Three times!

And in 2022, she is still on “Days of Our Lives!” It means that she is in her fifth decade of the role. These days, she balances her time on the show and being a mother, as well as being an author of her own work.

Maria Shriver – 66 years old

Former First Lady of California Maria Shriver is known for having been married to actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, and she finally divorced him in 2021. However, that shouldn’t detract from the glorious career that she’s built for herself over the years.

Maria’s work in journalism has been so noteworthy that she’s received an Emmy for it, and she’s earned a staggering $200 million in the bank so far! It’s clear that she knows what she’s doing, and we’re confident that Maria will be bringing us cutting-edge news. Perhaps her glory days aren’t over.

Bern Nadette Stanis – 68 years old

Although she’s not as popular, Bern Nadette Stanis is still considered a trailblazer today. Publications like Essence magazine dubbed her as TV’s first Black feminine symbol. This was thanks to her memorable portrayal of Thelma Evans Anderson in the ’70s sitcom “Good Times.”

Stanis followed that up with a string of minor small-screen appearances in the ’80s and the ’90s before focusing on other endeavors. She’s written several self-help books, including “Situations 101: Relationship.” She occasionally acts today and appeared in the short film “Dreams From The Edge” in 2021.

Barbara Feldon – 89 years old

Barbara Feldon may be a woman in her senior years, but her face does not reflect her age even a bit! Even after devoting decades of her life to her career, Feldon still appears to be an agile and youthful personality. The actress joined the entertainment industry as a model.

In the ’60s, she switched her career choices to acting after landing a role in the series “Twelve O’clock High.” It was the right move as Feldon was a natural! After her first stint, the star appeared in various television series, with the most notable role being that of Agent 99 in the sitcom “Get Smart.” We haven’t seen a lot of her lately since her last project was in 2006, called “Last Request.”

Patrick Duffy – 72 years old

Patrick Duffy, who is widely known for his role on the CBS primetime opera “Dallas,” played one of its key characters: Bob Ewing, the youngest son on our favorite Miss Ellie and the best brother of J. R. Ewing. He played the role for a long time, from 1978 to 1985 and again from 1986 to 1991.

However, we are really excited about Patrick Duff’s budding new romance. In 2021, according to the Daily Mail, Duffy gushed about how he fell in love on Zoom with “Happy Days” actress Linda Purl.

Angie Dickinson – 90 years old

Angie Dickinson kickstarted her acting career in the ’50s, and her fame skyrocketed when she appeared in “Gun the Man Down.” When she starred in the 1959 film called Rio Bravo, her performance won her the New Star of the Year award at the Golden Globe Awards.

In the ’70s, she found significant success on TV through her award-winning role in “Police Woman.” Dickinson’s last acting role was in “Mending Fences” in 2009, and it looks like she doesn’t want to act anymore as we haven’t heard much of her. She was married twice in the past, but both marriages ended in divorce.

Faye Dunaway – 81 years old

Faye Dunaway rose to fame in the late ’60s, with her most memorable role to date being in the film “Bonnie And Clyde” opposite Warren Beatty. She impressed audiences some more, playing complex characters in the acclaimed films “Three Days Of The Condor” and “Chinatown.”

Unfortunately, her career hit a snag when she accepted the role of portraying the late Joan Crawford in “Mommy Dearest,” which later became a camp favorite. Her talents never faded despite her absence from the screen, though, and she wowed her fans once again with a role in the film “The Man Who Drew God” in 2021.

Clu Gulager – 93 Years Old

Hail and hearty in his early 90s, Clu Gulager, is a renowned TV and film actor. He made his Hollywood debut in 1947 and gained prominence overnight – The legend loved his work, and it’s evident in all the roles under his belt.

Gulager’s popular projects include playing Billy the Kid in The Tall Man and numerous box-office hits like A Nightmare of Elm Street 2: Freddie’s Revenge and Give Till It Hurts. After this golden period in showbiz, we can understand how hard it must be for the superstar to bid farewell. Perhaps, that’s why Gulager has not announced his retirement yet.

Paul Hogan – 82 Years Old

Yes, Paul Hogan is the man who made us laugh our hearts out as Micheal in the cult film Crocodile Dundee. Opening to rave reviews, the Australian went on to receive many nominations and awards for the film and has been on a roll ever since.

While things were not hunky-dory in his professional life, the performer achieved great height as an actor. Hogan might like to joke that he is a ‘one-hit wonder,’ but the fact remains that he went on to become Australia’s pride with numerous accolades to show for it.

Hanna Schygulla – 78 Years Old

Besides being a German actress, Hanna Schygulla is also a renowned chanson singer. She was professionally associated with director Rainer Fassbinder and was one of the faces of the New German Cinema. Winner of both Berlin Silver Bear and Cannes Best Actress awards, Schygulla is her own legacy.

Though she studied literature and language, it was in acting that Schygulla found her true element. After spending most of her life in Paris, she has found peace in Berlin where she currently resides. Her long filmography is a treat to the mind, the intellect, and the senses.

Udo Dirkschneider – 69 Years Old

Udo Dirkschneider is synonymous with the German heavy metal band Accept. Although his liaison with the band did not last long, he founded another one named U.D.O, which tasted much commercial success. Apart from his independent music, he has made several guest appearances collaborating with other artists.

By and large, his most unique creations are his duets with artists such as Doro Pesch and HammerFall. Never shying away from experimenting, the outrageous music of Dirkschneider has a steady fan base not just in Germany but also in continental Europe. This is evident in his association with Finnish artists such as Mr. Lordi and Marko Hietala.

Sarah Jessica Parker – 56 Years Old

Sarah Jessica Parker became a worldwide phenomenon thanks to her role as Carrie Bradshaw in the iconic comedy series “S^x and the City.” The character was renowned for being a popular columnist for a fictional New York publication, while she has also built a reputation as a fashion designer and style guru herself.

She accomplished quite a bit during her time on the show, winning two Emmy Awards, a Golden Globe Award, and three Screen Actors Guild Awards. She also led two spinoff movies while also having roles in other film productions. In 2021 she reprised her role as Bradshaw in the spinoff, “And Just Like That…”

Dax Shepard – 47 Years Old

Dax Shepard is a multitalented personality best known for his work in comedy. Some of these include movies like “Without a Paddle,” “Employee of the Month,” and “Idiocracy.” His talents stretch into writing and producing, with his notable writing work coming in “Hit and Run” and “CHiPs,” which he also starred in and directed.

He’s also had roles in various TV productions such as the Netflix series “The Ranch” and “Bless This Mess.” He has been dabbling in streaming audio too, and runs a podcast called “Armchair Expert.” In 2021 he had a role in a series called “Ultra City Smiths” and appeared in a game show called “Family Game Fight.”

Kristin Davis – 57 Years Old

Sometimes actors become so iconic in their roles that we come to know them as the characters they play. Take Kristin Davis, for example. Fans became so used to her playing Charlotte York Goldenblatt in “S^x And The City” that they forgot she gained her initial fame as a villain in the iconic drama series “Melrose Place.”

She earned an Emmy nomination for the role, and it is so ingrained in her that she also starred in the two spinoff movies and reprised the role for the 2021 spinoff series “And Just Like That….” She also starred in another 2021 film titled “Deadly Illusions.”

Andy Cohen – 53 Years Old

Andy Cohen built his career and reputation on the radio. But he started it on TV, cutting his teeth on CBS as a producer for shows like “The Early Show,” “48 Hours,” and CBS “This Morning.” He also made regular appearances in “Today” and “Morning Joe” and has stood in as host of “Live! with Kelly” and “The View.”

He is the host of the late-night talk show “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” broadcast on Bravo. He also serves as producer on that show and has a Sirius XM pop culture channel called “Radio Andy.” In 2021 he also served as producer on numerous “Real Housewives” shows.

Bridget Moynahan – 50 Years Old

For Bridget Moynahan, a little guest appearance in “S^x and the City” went a long way to kickstarting her acting career. This small part led to further parts in the film “Coyote Ugly,” “Serendipity’ and “I, Robot,” among many other roles. But she shot to fame when she landed her role in the long-running police drama “Blue Bloods.”

She played assistant district attorney Erin Reagan and returned to the show in 2021 to reprise the role. During her time on that series, she has also broken away for roles in films, like the “John Wick” series, where she played the title character’s late wife, Helen Wick.

Ricky Gervais – 60 Years Old

You know that iconic American TV series called “The Office?” It was based on a popular British TV called “The Office,” and Ricky Gervais is one of the people you can thank for creating the show. He has won many awards, including seven BAFTAs, five British Comedy Awards, three Golden Globes, and Two Emmy Awards.

He has also twice won the prestigious Rose d’Or. He is an accomplished standup comedian who placed third in the Channel 4 list of 100 Greatest Stand-Ups in 2010. He was also listed in that year’s Time magazine list of the world’s most influential people. In 2021 he hosted a podcast called “Absolutely Mental.”

Chris Noth – 67 Years Old

Do you know what is impressive? Chris Noth is listed as a recurring character on “S^x and the City.” It’s a pretty fair assessment considering he had appeared in just 41 of the 94 episodes that were made of the show. Yet, everything on the show’s finale hung off from the actions of his character, John “Mr. Big” Preston.

This isn’t his only notable role either. He also had parts in the iconic series “Law & Order” and appeared in “The Good Wife.” In 2021 he was just as busy, with notable roles in the revival of “The Equalizer” and a reprisal of his role as “Big” in “And Just Like That….”

Viggo Mortensen – 63 Years Old

While Viggo Mortensen had been around the block, he truly found his groove when he landed the role of Aragorn in the “Lord of the Rings” series of films. It was following his time in those films that he started landing more prominent roles and started putting in some of his most accomplished performances.

These include a critically acclaimed performance in “A History of Violence” and  “Eastern Promises.” He went one better and earned an Oscar nomination for his role in “A Dangerous Method.” He went on to earn another two Oscar nominations for “Captain Fantastic” and “Green Book.” In 2020 he appeared in a film called “Falling.”

Rod Stewart – 77 Years Old

Rod Stewart is one of the world’s most iconic musicians. Born and raised in London, he is best known for his raspy vocals and hit songs like “Maggie May” and “Tonight’s the Night (Gonna Be Alright),” the latter of which spent two months at number one in the US.

Having sold more than 250 million albums worldwide, he is regarded as one of the biggest selling artists in music history. He has evolved with the times and pioneered a fresh mashup of genres that includes folk, rock, R&B, and soul during his early career. In 2021 he released his 31st album titled “The Tears of Hercules.”

Kim Cattrall – 65 Years Old

From the cast of “S^x and the City,” only one other cast member has been nominated for more awards than Sarah Jessica Parker. That actress is Kim Cattrall. She gained fame for playing Samantha Jones in the show and also earned five Emmy Award nominations and four golden globe nominations. She only won one though… the Golden Globe in 2002.

Like the rest of the cast, she continued to play the character in two spinoff films. Beyond that, she has also dabbled in production, doing this on a show called “Sensitive Skin” and another 2020 series called “Filthy Rich,” the latter of which she also starred in.

Ryan Seacrest – 47 Years Old

When we see Ryan Seacrest, he’s usually the host of various shows. These include “American Idol” to “American Top 40” as well as “On Air with Ryan Seacrest.” But his skills go beyond presenting, and he also serves as a producer on many of these shows and even has his own production company called Ryan Seacrest Productions.

Through this company, he has produced various shows, including “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” “Khloe and Lamar,” and “Kourtney and Kim Take New York,” among a host of other Kardashian spinoffs. He also still finds time to host and does this in the morning on “Live! With Kelly and Ryan,” including in 2022.

Lauren Chapin – 76 Years Old

When she was a child, Lauren Chapin got her big break. She was born in Los Angeles back in 1945, and by the mid-50s, she had landed the role that would change her entire life. She was portraying Kathy Anderson on the Father Knows Best series up until 1960.

However, she eventually decided that acting wasn’t for her. The last time she acted was in 1986, in the Scout’s Honour movie. She spent decades away from the spotlight and only made a brief comeback in 2016 when she launched her School Bus Diaries YouTube show.

Bo Derek – 65 Years Old

The American actress Bo Derek helped to spice up the country’s movie scene in the late ’70s and ’80s by appearing in steamy films such as the comedy 10, Tarzan, the Ape Man, and the drama Fantasies (directed by her late husband, John Derek). An ever-beautiful woman, Derek is now 64 and enjoying semi-retirement, but she still looks like a million dollars!

Joe Pesci – 79 Years Old

Right from Raging Bull to The Good Shepherd, Joe Pesci has offered something to film-lovers of all generations! After starring in films like My Cousin Vinny and the Home Alone franchise, his fan base widened to include teenagers of the ’90s too.

Much to everyone’s dismay, Pesci announced his retirement from acting in 1999 to find greener pastures in the music world. Eventually, he did make a comeback with Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman only to receive two Screen Actor Guild Awards, a Golden Globe award, and a host of other accolades!

Richard Simmons – 73 Years Old

Decades before wellness made its way into social media, Richard Simmons was the official face of “getting fit.” The American fitness personality was huge during the ’80s, a decade that wholly fit his flamboyant personality, neverending energy, and perpetual good mood. After making millions with his tapes, Simmons decided to retire in 2014.

But after roughly six years spent in the dark, so to say, Simmons decided to get back to the spotlight. In 2020, he started uploading his Sweatin’ to the Oldies series to YouTube, and his fans loved it! In 2022, Simmons will be appearing in a new three-hour documentary titled King Cake: The New Orleans Mardi Gras Story.
